Wine bacteria ICV Elios® 1

Elios® 1 is a lactic bacteria (Oenococcus oeni) selected by ICV to control malolactic fermentation of your high-range red wines.

Elios® 1 is particularly interesting for its ability to:

- limit the development of spoilage microorganisms (Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, and Brettanomyces) in red wines.

- develop aromas of red fruit jam and pepper, and to increase and stabilize volume and concentration in the mouth.

 

MBR technology : direct inoculation without rehydration. Elios®1 can be used in co – inoculation or at the end of alcoholic fermentation even when extended skin contact is performed.
