History

In 1946, wine cooperatives in southern France decided to develop a shared winemaking tool - the Cooperative Wine Institute (ICV).

The aim? To benefit from state-of-the-art resources and teams in order to engage wine production in an approach of progress and quality.

Recognised for its effective oenological practices, the ICV Group then expanded its customer base, aiming at private wineries and all stakeholders in the sector, with the creation of Vineyards and Wine Services (VVS) in 2000.

Attentive to developments in the wine market, teams of the ICV Group regularly develop new services: precision viticulture, mastery of conditioning, quality management, approach to sustainable development ...

In 2009, a new step was taken with the creation of GIE ICV-VVS, that groups together all the resources made available to the ICV and VVS subsidiaries.

Today, the ICV Group maintains its pioneering spirit more than ever, in order to anticipate trends and contribute to the quality and performance of wine industry players.
